Located in the far south-west, Ohrid, the ‘The Old City of Light’, is often regarded as one of Macedonia’s most sought after vacation destinations. According to archaeologists, it is one of the oldest human settlements in all of Europe.
Ohrid was also once home to over three hundred churches of various religions which gave it the nickname of ‘The Jerusalem of the Balkans’. This includes the most sacred of all the churches in the Republic of Macedonia, Church of Saints Clement and Panteleimon. It is there that thousands of Macedonian Orthodox Christians gather during large religious holidays like Easter and Christmas, to celebrate. For these reasons, in 1979, Ohrid was inscribed as one of the twenty-eight UNESCO’s World Heritage sites that are Cultural as well as Natural. Apart from its rich and diverse history, Ohrid also excels in modern tourism. Some activities include traditional concerts, night clubs, shopping centers, outdoor sports, hiking & cycling trails, various restaurants and plenty of beaches.
Whatever you decide, there will never a shortage of things to do when visiting this old but magnificent city!
Paradisus Punta Cana Resort
My name is Tamara Milenkovska and I was recently a guest at your resort from June 1st through June 7th. I stayed in room sixty nine on the third floor.
Upon my departure I realized that I have forgotten my mobile phone (white iphone 6s) on the nightstand beside the bed closest to the window.
If it is possible please send the phone and corresponding invoice for shipping to the following address: ulica Ohridska br 20, 2000 Strumica, Macedonia.
I would really appreciate the help as the phone is very important to me, thank you.
Sincerely yours,Tamara Milenkovska
